The ATF-King is a dedicated hunting boot, designed for Australian conditions, in particular our characteristic stalking and contouring of mountainous terrain. The boots introduce a new level of performance for stalking, previously unavailable from foreign hiking brands with an emphasis on increased give and feel though the ultra-light custom sole. The ATF-King is the lightest full leather boot on the market and offers an unprecedented level of customised features specifically designed and developed for hunting.

Features:
 
 
  • Sure TouchTM sole compound. A thick, soft, inner layer provides maximum give and feel, while a thin outer layer provides excellent grip and durability. 

 

  • Injection moulded sole. Industry leading sole adhesion through injection moulding process means the sole is vulcanized to the boot during manufacturing .This process eliminates glues, which when used in other brands can often result in soles parting or peeling off in tough hunting conditions

 

  • Mountain Agressor TM tread.  A highly agressive tread pattern, the Mountain AgrressorTM offers large singular lugs interspaced with deep channels to vent mud and self clean like never before. These lugs also extend up the outer sides of the sole to provide aggresive traction while sidling steep ground.

 

  • Flexi ShankTM. The ATF King features our exclusive Flexi ShankTM, a full length ultra-thin, flexible steel shank that is embedded into the sole during the injection moulding process. This provides perfect strength and torsion control right out to all edges of the sole, not just under the arch and heel. Perfect for hunting steep rocky ground where at times only the edges of the boot are used and full support is needed from this narrow area of contact.

 

  • CRS-Contour Reinforcement SystemTM Australian deer hunters, particularly Sambar hunters, spend a huge part of their time constantly contouring steep, uneven ground. The design of the ATF King specifically caters to combat this situation and provides reinforced side walls with our exclusive CRS.

 

  • Waterproofing: To manufacture a boot with maximum breathability suitable for Australian hunting conditions, conventional waterproofing inner layers have been removed from our boot design. The natural characteristics of genuine leather in conjunction with full seam sealing repels water whilst maintaining maximum breathability and comfort. To aid and maintain these characteristic functions, the use of natural leather conditioners such as Bees Wax based products is recommended and essential through the course of regular upkeep and maintenance to keep your boots water resistant.

 

  • One piece leather vamp. To ensure maximum strength and durability the ATF King features  no seams or stitching in impact and stress areas. First grade polished cowhide leather upper for durabilty, waterproofness and ease of maintenance. Premuim quality polished Waterbuffalo leather tongue and collar for softness similar to pigskin however with dramatic increases in strength and waterproofness.

 

  • Designed for ease of maintenance. Regular maintenance nourishes the leather and prolongs the life of the boot. After hunting simply wipe clean with a damp cloth, dry in the shade then polish with Nugget or Kiwi boot polish then treat with Dubbin or Snowseal.

Great boots & super comfortable to wear all day! Sadly I had a defect in mine when I purchased them, one of the lace eyelets pulled out the first time I haunted in them. When I contacted Moroka30, understanding that a hunter needs hit boots, they took no time in offering me options including a same day repair at a local shoe smith to ensure I didn't miss a planned hunt starting that afternoon.
