The Karesuando Överlevnad (Survival knife) is a typical Scandinavian bushcrafting knife. The handle of curly birch wood is rubbed with oil so it can better stand the elements. They have added a ring or reindeer antler which looks really beautiful. The ergonomic shape of the handle makes this knife really comfortable to use. The 12c27-Sandvik steel blade has a scandi-grind, a typical Scandinavian way of sharpening which makes the edge very strong and easy to sharpen. The back of the blade is also sharpened so it becomes easier to use a firesteel. The blade and handle are separated by a gorgeous brass bolster.

The knife comes in a traditional leather belt sheath with plastic insert. The side of the sheath has a holder that contains a firesteel with a handle of reindeer antler. They have also added a small diamond sharpening stone with a coarse and a fine side.
