A quality Groundsheet can perform a multitude of useful functions for the hunter, and in particular the backpack hunter. A Groundsheet comes into it's own when providing an invaluable barrier between the cold wet ground and your bedding under a fly camp, but can also prove very useful in the field as a clean and hygienic groundcover to lay out meat to cool as you field dress harvested game animals.
