The NAUTILUS is the next evolution in our ultralight waterproof, windproof and breathable rain jackets—taking the proven protection of the original Pack Jacket and stepping it up with added functionality, durability, and all-day comfort in the field.

Constructed from our 2.5 layer Aushield 20K™ custom fabric with C6 DWR, this fully seam sealed shell delivers serious weather protection with a 20,000mm waterproof rating, built to handle sustained rain, wind, wet scrub, and high country exposure. Unlike traditional rainwear, it doesn’t trap heat. A 20,000 MVP breathability rating allows body heat and moisture vapour to escape, keeping you dry from both sides during climbs, stalks, and pack-outs.

Where the original focused on minimalism, this design adds purpose-driven features without unnecessary bulk. A full-length front zip allows fast on/off and ventilation control, while dual-access pass-through hand pockets give you direct access to inner layers or gear underneath—no need to open the system up in bad weather. The hand pockets are also positioned correctly for effective use with a backpack waistbelt. On the upper left chest a small pocket is concealed behind a cover flap ideal for a phone and other small items. Internally, a small mesh pocket is available to keep items fully protected and out of the weather.

Seamless shoulder construction reduces pressure points under a pack and removes water ingress at common leak zones, while the fully adjustable hood provides both excellent protection and range of adjustment with unrivalled peripheral vision. Articulated sleeves have been carefully designed to remove excess bulk and weight in the pattern while providing increased comfort unrestricted movement. Our unique contoured and sculpted cuff design also gives added protection to the hands and wrists and a generous drop tail design keeps your backside dry. 

Graphene heat mapping to the inner membrane actively regulates temperature across key zones, helping retain warmth where needed while preventing overheating during high-output movement. When things heat up, under-arm heat dump zips give you immediate airflow without compromising protection.

Finished with premium YKK AquaGuard® Vislon zips to the centre front, hand pockets, upper chest and pit zips plus a main cover flap with press stud closure, every entry point is sealed against the elements while maintaining long-term durability in harsh use.

This isn’t just a lightweight emergency shell—it’s a fully featured outer layer built for hunters who stay out when the weather rolls in.
