Waterproof jackets designed for New Zealand or North America are constantly being proven to be too heavy, hot and bulky for our variable weather conditions here in Australia. 
 
For our local conditions what is needed is a tough, lightweight, breathable jacket of a functional design that can be quickly put on and taken off as required because the reality is that it will spend most of its time packed away.
 
At a finished weight of only 395gms the Packjacket's lightweight military spec Aushield20K fabric, combined with the highest quality seam sealing, provides extreme water proofness and maximum breathe-ability. 
 
Generous proportions to the Packjacket's cut mean that will fit easily over your clothing and hang low enough to prevent water running down your backside but the Packjacket rolls up quite small to take up minimal space inside your pack.

Great waterproof jacket

Thanks Rob and Team for making a great, lightweight rain jacket. Took my pack jacket for a hunt on the weekend where it rained for a few hours. I stayed dry and did not experience any 'clammy' feeling whilst sweating. This should be a great jacket for Queensland rain seasons when the temperature is a bit warmer. A suggestion would be to have a belt loop or self storing ability so the pack can be kept on your belt, or within a backpack. Also, I struggled to get the hood snug, and therefore did most of my hunting without the hood on. This is probably my fault for not getting familiar with the jacket prior to using it. All in all, very happy with the purchase and would highly recommend.

I bought the Pack jacket for a trip to Stuart Island in feb 2020 over there it can rain inches of rain in a hour, definately the best bit of kit i bought as it kept me bone dry and warm, i wish i had bought the pants to go along with it as my Hunter Element pants were as wet and cold. Super light weight, rugged and keeps you dry and keeps the wind out. Like all Moroka 30 gear well designed , made and value for money great product guys!

Just wanted to give some feedback on your back pack rain jacket I got it towards the end of hound season last year and was extremely happy with it although I only needed it a couple times any way I had it on all this weekend in sold rain and can’t be happier with it and won’t be without it again Cheers mike
